零基礎學習Puppet自動化配置管理系列文檔
MCollective只是一個框架,如果需要在上面發揮各種作用,那就需要各種插件的支持。官方提供了很多這方面的插件,除此之外,還有第三方的插件,比如shell插件等,下面會介紹各種插件的安裝,以及插件之間如何組合進行使用。
首先去官網下載各個插件 http://yum.puppetlabs.com
1.1 下載collective-client端

1.2 下載mcollecitve-server端

以上安裝可寫個package模塊執行,以下只針對mcollective server端,安裝完成之后記得重啟服務,如果寫了service模塊可以自動刷新
1.3 編寫plugins.pp

1.4 編寫conf.pp

1.5 mcollective-client端安裝好之后,可通過mco命令查看

1.6 mcollective-server端安裝好之后,可在mco-client端查看

注意: 接下來測試各種命令的操作組合,這里只舉一些例子,更多信息可參考--help或者參考官網

2.1、下載插件放在對應的目錄里即可

備注:mcollective-server端部署完成之后,記得重啟mcollective服務。
2.2、 查看shell插件是否加載成功
從下面可以看出mcollective-client端shell插件已經有了

2.3、通過shell插件執行shell命令

顯示所有節點/etc/password文件中puppet用戶哪一行

修改其中一臺主機的root密碼

備注:更多操作步驟可參考mco shell --help幫助。
警告:基于mcollective的shell插件雖然功能很強大,除了動態顯示的命令之外,其它root能操作的,它基本上都能操作。所以操作也非常危險,可根據生產環境實際情況而定。
注意: 接下來測試各種命令的操作組合,這里只舉一些例子,更多信息可參考--help或者參考官網
3.1、停止操作系統為RHEL5.x服務器的crond任務
先查看5.x系統crond的狀態,使用插件 service、facts
[root@linuxmaster1poc ~]# mco service crond status -F operatingsystemmajrelease=5 * [ ============================================================> ] 2 / 2 linux57poc: running linux58poc: running Summary of Service Status: running = 2 Finished processing 2 / 2 hosts in 184.79 ms
然后通過service插件停止服務,使用插件 service、facts
[root@linuxmaster1poc ~]# mco service crond stop -F operatingsystemmajrelease=5 * [ ============================================================> ] 2 / 2 Summary of Service Status: stopped = 2 Finished processing 2 / 2 hosts in 914.76 ms
再次查看過濾的主機crond服務是否被停掉,使用插件 service、facts

也可以通過shell插件實現,使用到插件為shell、service、facts

3.2、使用mco對自定義fact_apply4=app的主機做一次變更,要求環境為testing,模式為noop
首先查看下那些主機具備有這個自定義fact,使用的插件為find、inventory
[root@linuxmaster1poc ~]# for i in `mco find` ; do echo $i; mco inventory $i | grep fact_apply4; done linux58poc fact_apply4 => app linux57poc linux64poc fact_apply4 => app
其次按要求做變更即可,使用到的插件為puppet,facts

2.2、使用mco對自定義fact_apply4=app的主機做一次變更,要求環境為testing,模式為noop
