(編者按:在 上一篇文章中,我們聊了關于TF組件安裝中的HA行為、多NIC安裝、集群規模等問題,以及如何安裝具有Tungsten Fabric CNI的Kubernetes HA環境。)
Openstack HA的安裝可以由anstack-deployer直接完成。
對于此示例的設置,我使用了5個EC2實例(AMI相同,ami-3185744e),每個實例具有2個vCPU、8 GB內存、20 GB磁盤空間。VPC的CIDR為172.31.0.0/16。

注意:如果計算節點不支持kvm,則可能需要添加此設置。
注意:如果是使用AWS,則還需要從EC2實例的右鍵菜單中設置網絡>管理IP地址,以允許從其它節點訪問haproxy VIP。
這樣,控制器之間的HA和2個計算節點之間的overlay都完全配置好了!
有些要點本文檔沒有覆蓋,例如某些控制節點宕機時的行為,或在計算節點之間執行實時遷移。上次我嘗試實時遷移時,發現有大約1秒鐘的報文丟包,但是請注意自己的設置,因為有很多要注意的地方(例如前綴將在實時遷移完成后更新)。
查看每個控制器的鄰居狀態和路由表,您會發現它們之間的有趣之處。

由于vRouter始終具有2個XMPP連接,所以當存在3個控制器時,XMPP的連接狀態在控制器之間是不同的,并且它們之間的路由表也可能有所不同。考慮到路由目標過濾,如果某些控制器未從XMPP接收到某些特定的路由目標,則它們甚至可能具有完全不同的路由表。
這就是由于Tungsten Fabric的橫向擴展行為帶來的結果。

由于Tungsten Fabric的HA行為與Kubernetes和OpenStack安裝中的行為完全相同,因此我將不對其進行詳細描述。
對于編排器端的HA,vCenter HA是完全可用的。
多vCenter或跨vCenter(使用鏈接模式時)將是一個很有趣的主題。我將在附錄部分進一步討論它們。
容器注冊表docker.io/opencontrailnight具有各種各樣的標簽。
關于在新的安裝中選擇什么樣的標簽,我有一些考慮。
我經常使用的是三個標簽:latest,5.1.0-latest,5.0-latest。它們位于每個Tungsten Fabric分支的頭部(master/R5.1/R5.0),并且每個分支中都包含各種錯誤修復。因此,您可以為用例選擇其中的標簽。如果需要R5.1中的新功能(例如可選的analytics組件),那么你可以選擇5.1.0-latest標簽。
由于latest是真正的開發分支,因此我不建議您將它們作為常規使用的標簽,因為在某些情況下,此版本已被“破壞”以添加新的功能。
其它發行版本的分支更加穩定,因為在大多數情況下,它們只是進行了錯誤修復,盡管在創建新的分支后的某些特定時期內,發行版本的分支似乎也具有新的功能。
要指定標簽,您可以使用這些參數,并且當針對ansible-deployer和conutil-container-builder輸入git clone時,還需要指定同一分支。
需要注意的一點是,由于與OpenStack一起使用的容器(例如nova-init、neutron-init、heat-init等)具有OpenStack發行版的版本依賴性,因此標記可能需要更改為5.1.0-latest-queens、5.1.0-latest-rocky等。
由于安裝了一些帶有特定版本的OpenStack模塊,因此,如果標簽不同,則OpenStack容器將無法正常工作。
