一、概述

1. ConfigMap

??在實際的應用部署中, 經常需要為各種應用/中間件配置各種參數, 如數據庫地址、 用戶名、 密碼等, 而且大多數生產環境中的應用程序配置較為復雜, 可能是多個 Config 文件、 命令行參數和環境變量的組合。 要完成這樣的任務有很多種方案, 比如:

  • 1.可以直接在打包鏡像的時候寫在應用配置文件里面,但這種方式的壞處顯而易見,因為在應用部署中往往需要修改這些配置參數,或者說制作鏡像時并不知道具體的參數配置,一旦打包到鏡像中將無法更改配置。另外,部分配置信息涉及安全信息(如用戶名、 密碼等),打包人鏡像容易導致安全隱患;
  • 2.可以在配置文件里面通過ENV環境變量傳入,但是如若修改ENV就意味著要修改yaml文件,而且需要重啟所有的容器才行;
  • 3.可以在應用啟動時在數據庫或者某個特定的地方取配置文件。

顯然,前兩種方案不是最佳方案,而第三種方案實現起來又比較麻煩。為了解決這個難題,kubernetes引入ConfigMap這個API資源來滿足這一需求。

2. 為什么需要ConfigMap和Secret

??ConfigMap和Secret是Kubernetes系統上兩種特殊類型的存儲卷,ConfigMap象用于為容器中的應用提供配置數據以定制程序的行為,不過敏感的配置信息,例如密鑰、證書等通常由Secret對象來進行配置。它們將相應的配置信息保存于對象中,而后在Pod資源上以存儲卷的形式將其掛載并獲取相關的配置,以實現配置與鏡像文件的解耦。

3. ConfigMap作用

  • 向容器傳遞命令行參數
  • 為每個容器設置自定義環境變量
  • 通過特殊類型的卷將配置文件掛載到容器中

二、準備工作

??制作基礎鏡像loong576/date-random,創建pod date-random-configmap,pod中包含容器centos-date和nginx-server,其中容器centos-date由鏡像loong576/date-random創建,通過訪問容器nginx-server驗證參數是否生效。

基礎鏡像為centos:centos7.6.1810,向其中寫入腳本date-random.sh并執行,該腳本運行date和echo $RANDOM命令,前者輸出當前時間,后者輸出0~32767之間的隨機數,腳本循環時間為5秒。

運行date-random-configmap.yaml并訪問容器nginx-server(nginx默認端口為80),發現每5秒輸出date和隨機數,符合預期。

三、容器中的配置數據傳遞

1. 容器的ENTRYPOINT和CMD

Dockerfile中的兩種指令分別定義命令與參數這兩個部分:

  • ENTRYPOINT定義容器啟動時運行的命令。
  • CMD指定傳遞給ENTRYPOINT的參數。

CMD也可以執行命令,一般為默認的啟動命令。

將之前的循環間隔5秒修改為參數INTERVAL,在Dockerfile中傳遞該參數值為10秒,上傳dockerhub。Dockerfile中ENTRYPOINT和CMD后面的[]表明執行格式為Exec,區別于之前的Shell格式。

四、ConfigMap

??通過'三、容器中的配置數據傳遞',可以將要傳遞給容器的參數直接定義在鏡像中或者pod中通過定義參數值和環境變量方式傳遞參數給容器,這些方式有如下弊端:

  • 1.pod配置不能復用,生產和開發環境需定義兩套;
  • 2.參數變更時需重啟容器;
  • 3.鏡像中的參數變更需新建鏡像;
  • 4.不適合分布式環境;

這時就需要ConfigMap,通過Volume的形式被mount到Pod或者環境變量的方式傳遞參數給容器。

鍵值對方式對格式有一定要求:有效的環境變量名必須由字母字符、數字、''-'或'.'組成,并且不能以數字開頭(例如,'.my.env name',或'.my'.env.name',或'.myenvname1',用于驗證的regex是'[-.'-z a-z][-.'-u a-za-z0-9]*')

通過掛載ConfigMap更新nginx配置原理:Nginx需讀取配置文件/etc/nginx/nginx.conf, 默認配置文件會自動嵌入子文件夾/etc/nginx/conf.d/下的所有conf文件, 因此只需要將你的配置文件置于該子文件夾中即可

3. 更新應用配置

3.1 更新ConfigMap

更新my-config-dir,將條目my-nginx-config.conf的nginx監聽端口由81更改為82

# nginx -s reload

由于nginx不會自動加載配置,故需重新加載

五、Secret

為了存儲與分發此類信息,Kubemetes提供了一種稱為Secret的單獨資源對象。Secret結構與ConfigMap類似,均是鍵/值對的映射。

Secret作用:

  • 將 Secret 條目作為環境變量傳遞給容器
  • 將 Secret 條目暴露為卷中的文件

1. 創建Secret

和ConfigMap類似,Secret也有5中創建方式

使用文件、目錄和字面量方式:

[root@master loong576]# kubectl create secret generic mysecret --from-file=./username.txt --from-file=mypassword=./password.txt --from-literal=loong=576  --from-file=./secret-dir/

secret有三種類型:

  • docker-registry 創建一個給Docker registry使用的secret
  • generic 從本地file, directory或者literal value創建一個secret
  • tls 創建一個TLS secret

這里使用的是generic方式,后面還會用到docker-registry方式。

通過'kubectl get secrets'查看所有secret,通過'kubectl describe secrets mysecret'查看條目key值,通過'kubectl get secrets mysecret -o yaml'可查看條目的value值,不過需要base64解碼。

3. 使用Secret

本文以使用Secret拉取私有鏡像為例介紹Secret的用法。

3.1 創建secret docker-registry

進入容器查看secret,發現/etc/loong576下作為卷掛載的secret;/etc/loong576文件系統類型為tmpfs,說明secret卷采用內存文件系統掛載,secret數據不會寫入磁盤,保證數據安全。
